I really enjoyed this, it’s so creative. I love that it’s short and to the point with such a deep message. Sometimes we’re constantly struggling with things we don’t even like in the first place. There comes a time when we just got to follow our heart and do what we love. The call to do what we’re really meant to do is just to great to ignore.
Recently, I’ve been reading the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and somehow it reminds me of this.
I wanted to share some of my favorite quotes from the book, because they are very inspiring and they are perfect for this short-film. There is a lot of them that I liked, here is a few.
“People are capable, at any time in their lives, of doing what they dream of.”
“Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life.”
“Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.”
“Don’t give in to your fears. If you do, you won’t be able to talk to your heart.”
“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second’s encounter with God and with eternity.”
“To realize one’s destiny is person’s only real obligation. All things are one. And when you want something all the Universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”
“Maktub” (It is written.)”
Do you like any Paulo Coelho quotes? Is there a short-film that really inspires you? Please share them with me, even if it doesn’t relate to this topic.
Doing what you love is letting God inspire you with the passion for it.
That’s beautiful, thanks for sharing!
nice video
I just finished reading “The witch of Portobello”
It was nice, too…
Zahir is also nice…
As far as the Moon is concerned, it is always full.

Thanks! I want to get more books from him. Which one of those two would you recommend first? I had bought the Alchemist in a set with Warrior of the Light but I’m finishing up with those. So, I’m thinking about getting another one of his, that would be a nice (From:me/To:me) Christmas present. 🙂 Just need to decide which one!
I love the quote, thanks for sharing.
Blessings!
I liked Alchemist… A simple story, but profound meaning…
Manual of the warrior of light also has some good teachings…
Mm, out of those two, I would say Zahir has more story 🙂
But it’s from a male perspective…
The witch of portobello is quite a different plotline… It’s about a woman, obviously…
But if you asked me for one book of his I think you should read it would be “The Fifth Mountain” – That is a very challenging story. It has a biblical foundation, but Coelho has weaved a good story around it.
He has a lot of great books and I love his allegorical style so I was just debating which one to get first. I was looking to get one of his older works…It might just be “the Fifth Mountain,” thanks for the help! 🙂
I read quite a few of them on a friend’s recommendation
That’s how I know…
No worries. 🙂
Thanks for checking out my blog- Namaste!
Beautiful and inspirational! Thanks.
That is inspiring. Life is short and yes, we do need to do what we love and what makes us happy.
